“Come and See”
We begin a new series this Sunday travelling through the Gospel of John. John shows quite clearly how each encounter someone has with Jesus, their lives are never the same again. The experience is transformational. Although Jesus is not physically with us in the same way he was in the New Testament, he still comes to us in such a way that our lives are equally transformed, if we are prepared to let him enter. Can I encourage you to get hold of a Gospel of John and work through it with me in these coming weeks? Manna Bookshop have some great Gospel of John Journals with space for note taking and reflection on what God might be saying to you in this season. They have ordered some in especially for us, and they are reasonable in price. This week we will be looking at Andrew, Simon, Philip and Nathaniel’s first meeting with Jesus. Through the coming weeks we will see Jesus encounter a wedding party; a religious leader called Nicodemus; a woman who had been badly treated and rejected by five husbands; a man who had been ill for thirty eight years; a young boy who turned up with some bread and fish; a crowd of people at a festival; a woman caught in an adulterous relationship; a city leader; two sisters gripped with grief; and so much more.
Please tune in to the series, and why not invite others to “come and see” too. It could be life changing for them and for you.

Grace and Peace,

The All Saints Team
