Small Groups

We have a diverse selection of small groups that meet on various times during the week. Some focus on study, some on prayer, and some on pastoral support and care.  Some are primarily social while some have a more outward or ministry focus. Take a look at the links below to learn more about them.

Glory Gang Youth
All Saints, Friday 7 - 9pm year 9-13 during term time

“We don’t do it for the Glory, we do it for the King, we do it for each other, because love is everything.”

We have 3 key values:

1. Whanaungatanga (Relationship and relationships) - between God and each other: We honour and respect, every single human or young person that walks through our doors, and no matter who you are or where you come from, we are equal.

2. Centred around the person of Jesus Christ – He is our why.

3. Sharing God’s love to our whanau and community!

Everything we do, we do together. We eat as one, we work as one, we have fun as one we learn and grow together.

Alpha courses
This is your sub-headline

Alpha courses

The Alpha Course was developed by the Church of England as a teaching resource about the Christian Faith.  All Saints’ was one of the first to run Alpha courses in New Zealand starting in 1994/5.  These then ran quarterly for 12 years attracting many from non-church backgrounds  Over this time many came to faith and joined this parish as well as other churches some even went on to join the Anglican clergy.  Alpha continues to be offered within the parish.

Marriage  and relationships courses

All Saints’ has a long history of supporting marriage and relationships.  They have and continue to offer marriage preparation through the Alpha pre-marriage course and the Prepare Enrich programme.  Many couples have also benefitted from the Alpha Marraige Course that seeks to strengthen and enrich couples relationsionships.  In the past they have also offered Alpha Parenting courses and some parishioners have been involved in supporting people through Divorce Care.
